Terms & Conditions

  • Click to Pay facilitates transactions between the Cardholder and the Merchant. The Bank and Visa are not parties to the transaction. The payment process, including purchases and refunds, is solely between the Cardholder and the Merchant.
  • Visa may share transaction-related information with Sohar International Bank to enhance service offerings. 
  • Merchants, Visa, and other third parties involved in payment processing may use transaction data to verify payments, offer rewards, or facilitate instalment options.
  • The Bank, Visa, and affiliated parties shall not be liable for any damages, losses, or claims arising from the use of Click to Pay.
     

  • Visa, the Bank, Merchants, and authorized third parties may collect and share transaction data to facilitate payments, determine card benefits (such as reward points), and provide additional services.
  • Click to Pay is only available to individuals who are the authorized users of Visa credit, debit, and prepaid cards or other eligible payment methods.

  • Click to Pay may allow authentication via device-based methods, such as fingerprints, facial recognition, or passcodes ("Passkeys").
  • The use of Passkeys is governed by the agreement between the Cardholder and their device manufacturer. The Bank does not store biometric data.
  • Cardholders may choose to enable or disable Passkeys for transactions at any time through Visa’s Secure Checkout Portal [https://secure.checkout.visa.com].

Cardholders agree to:

  • Use Click to Pay only in compliance with applicable laws.
  • Not interfere with or disrupt the Click to Pay service.
  • Not attempt unauthorized access to the Click to Pay system.
  • Not use Click to Pay for fraudulent, defamatory, abusive, or illegal activities.
  • Not copy, reverse-engineer, distribute, or modify Click to Pay in any unauthorized manner.

Changes to Terms and conditions

The Bank reserves the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions any time. Continued use of click to pat after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
If a cardholder does not agree to the Terms, they must discontinue using Click to Pay and may opt out through the bank channels.

A Cardholder may terminate or opt out of Click to Pay at any time by removing their registered card(s) from Click to Pay through Bank dedicated channels.
The Bank may suspend or terminate a Cardholder’s access to Click to Pay under the following circumstance: 

  • Violation of these Terms and Condition
  • Suspected Fraudulent, authorization or illegal activity
  • Security concerns, including risk of unauthorized transactions.
  • Regulatory or legal requirements mandating such actio0n
  • At the Bank’s discretion, with prior notice where applicable

Upon termination, the Cardholder will no longer have access to Click to Pay, and all associated credentials will be removed from the system.
